Shop for Barbera wines

An Italian grape used to make red wines that, at their best, show ripe currant notes and a touch of smoke. Barbera is grown outside of Italy as well (in California, for example) but is best known for the gems that come from Italys DOC regions in Piedmont. It is thought by some to be the same grape as the Pignatello of Sardinia, but we have them listed separately.
