The Vaugh-Duffy winery emerged from winemaker Matt Duffy and wife Sarah Vaughn's names and dedicated work at building a winery and brand from virtually just their bare hands. Matt learned his craft not at the desks of Davis wine school but from making other peoples' wines at a Santa Rosa crush facility. "By watching the great work and also mistakes of our clients over the years I learned a lot in a short amount of time, especially about what not to do...!", Matt explained and it certainly shows in his newly founded estate's inaugural bottlings that burst out of their gates at quality levels that rival the best of their trade while showing a maturity of style that is quite astonishing.

Here at Winemonger we jumped at the opportunity to take these wines to market. At Vaughn-Duffy great personalities meet mature taste and craft, packaged quite uniquely and with a youthful kick to it. We look forward to seeing this great new winery grow.
