Election Night Bubbly - 30% Off

TOAST THE FUTURE

look! it’s red, white & blue

We’re in the Yes We Can camp over here at Winemonger, but we also strongly believe in the rights of every individual - so we want everyone to GET OUT AND VOTE ON TUESDAY, whatever your political leaning. This is quite possibly the most important election that most of us will be a part of in our lifetime. Don’t sit by and let somebody else change the world without your voice being a part of the choir. Be heard.

And then go home and pop the cork off something bubbly to celebrate! Celebrate your right to have that voice. Celebrate the freedoms we have today. Celebrate the future, which much surely be brighter than the rough times we have been bumping through.

So what are we going to do about it? (Besides voting, contributing, etc. etc.)

We’re offering up our two favorite sparkling wines at 30% off until November 3rd. Order now, put it in the fridge, and get ready.

CASTEL SAN GIORGIO MAGNIFICAT

The origins of this winery date back to the XVI century, when the castle was built (the Castel San Giorgio). The property is located in the area of Oltrepo Pavese, about 80 miles south of Milan in the Lombardy region.
Typically an area known for its red sparkling wines, it now produces many important wines of different styles. The quality of the wines is guaranteed by the reputation of the winemaker, Donato Lanati, who is recognized as one of the best in Italy.
This dry sparking wine was produced using the Charmat Method, spending 11 months on yeasts. The result is a wine that shows a brilliant straw-yellow color with lively, long-lasting mousse and fine, energetic bubbles. It has a floral bouquet with hints of yeasts and citrus, and the taste is pleasant, refreshing, and very well balanced.

ALTENBURGER BRUT
A sparkling cuvee of the very Austrian red wine grapes Blaufrankisch and Zweigelt lend this wine its beautiful rose color, as well as its notes of wild cherry fruit which are balanced by subtle yeast notes and just a hint of bitters. Fine streams of bubbles rise through the glass like strings of tiny pearls - the final effect being a wine that animates the senses and can’t help but make any occasion celebratory.

And, of course, either would taste better when served in a Zalto Champagne glass.

We’re just saying….
