OK, kiddies, step aside. We want some sweet treats for the grown-ups.

Now, we’re not suggesting anything untoward here- just a great idea for an All Hallow’s Eve celebration where adults get to enjoy some sweets in a very posh and grown-up way.

Throw a Halloween party featuring a whole slew of dessert and off-dry wines.

Let’s agree on this: a big part of the fun of Halloween was getting dozens of different kinds of candy tossed into your bag. So we suggest you let your guests relive a little. Set out a tasting of at least 3, and preferably more like 6 or 10, different bottles of dessert wines. Everybody can have a little sip from each, and it’s really just like digging your hand into the candy bowl each time. Only, you know, lots lots better.

Serve dessert wines that are each crafted from a different grape.
Or sweet wines that are all made in different styles.
Or at different sweetness levels.
Or a selection featuring only true Ice Wines.

Or best yet: ALL OF THE ABOVE!
